What We Are Looking For


As a Conversational Designer, you will play a crucial role in crafting conversational experiences that engage and delight our customers. You will be responsible for designing and implementing conversational interfaces for our voice, SMS, and messaging platforms. Your expertise in AI and self-serve solutions will be essential in creating dynamic, personalized, and intuitive conversational interactions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, UX designers, and product managers, to create seamless user experiences that align with our company's vision.

REPORTS TO: Director of Project Management

Position Responsibilities


  • Design and develop conversational experiences for voice, SMS, and messaging platforms, leveraging your expertise in AI and self-serve solutions.
  • Create conversational flows, dialogues, and user journeys that align with business objectives and user needs.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure a cohesive and intuitive user interface across all channels.
  • Conduct user research, analyze user feedback, and iterate on conversational designs to continually improve user satisfaction.
  • Work closely with developers to implement conversational designs, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and technologies.
  • Develop and maintain conversational design guidelines, best practices, and standards to ensure consistency and quality across all projects.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in conversational AI to drive innovation and propose new ideas for enhancing our conversational experiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, goals, and timelines, and manage project deliverables effectively.


Requirements


Education:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred. Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field.


Expertise & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Conversational Designer or in a similar role, with a focus on digital experiences through voice, SMS, and messaging platforms.
  • In-depth knowledge of conversational design principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Strong understanding of AI technologies, natural language processing, and machine learning.
  • Experience in designing and implementing self-serve solutions and chatbots is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in using conversational design tools, such as ChatGPT, Watson. Lex, Dialogflow, or similar platforms.
