Conversation Experience Designer

Role Overview

We seek a talented and experienced Conversation Experience Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in conversation design, a deep understanding of generative AI models, and a commitment to user-centred design principles. This role requires creativity, adaptability, and excellent communication skills, as you will work closely with clients to manage expectations and deliver exceptional conversational experiences.


Key Responsibilities


  • Design and develop engaging conversational experiences using generative AI models and prompt engineering techniques.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and UX/UI designers, to create seamless user interactions.
  • Conduct user research to understand user needs and preferences, integrating findings into conversation design.
  • Create conversational flows, scripts, and prompts that align with user intent and business objectives.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of natural language processing and conversational AI principles to inform design decisions.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, managing expectations and providing updates on project progress.
  • Adapt to changes in technology and industry trends, continuously evolving design practices and strategies.
  • Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Design, Computer Science, Linguistics).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in conversation or VUI design.
  • Strong understanding of generative AI models and prompt engineering.
  • Proficient in user experience and human-centred design principles.
  • In-depth knowledge of natural language processing and conversational AI principles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; multilingual skills are a plus.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative design solutions.
  • Fast learner with a willingness to stay updated on emerging technologies and methodologies.
  • Experience in client-facing roles with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experience working in an agile environment.
